Once upon a time (pre-COVID), Instacart needed to introduce audiences to the concept of grocery delivery.

So, we created a campaign about better things you can do when you let Instacart do the groceries –  like build a spaceship with your kid.

We began with two narrative spots for digital – one targeting parents and the other targeting young adults – that each integrated use of Instacart app into the storyline.

The spots were such a success that Instacart renewed them and opted for a broadcast distribution.

Instacart returned the following year for a campaign across digital, TV, social and radio that included new narrative spots as well as direct response versions.
