Grammarly wanted to show how improving communication improves lives.

In our award-winning “Write the Future” campaign, we made a series of 8 playful narrative spots about characters with relatable goals – such as trying to make a good first impression or meet a deadline – who succeed with the help of Grammarly.

By developing non-generic characters – giving specificity to their mannerisms and writing choices – we added humor and realism.

My role included crafting each of their sentences to convey their personalities while showcasing Grammarly’s product features in action.

The spots won Best Advertiser in Video at the Digiday Awards and were a wild success for Grammarly:

• 30% view through rate

• 1% conversion rate

• #1 on AdAge Viral Video Chart
